Hanaper
Verifiable digital infrastructure for regulated asset markets.
A verifiable record no single intermediary controls.
Carbon markets, sovereign registries, and other regulated asset systems share a common dependency: a record that participants and counterparties can verify without trusting any single intermediary.
Hanaper enables that record. Every event in the system (sovereign issuance, bilateral transfer, retirement) is recorded as a legal instrument under applicable law, paired with a cryptographic credential that proves authority, ownership, and lifecycle. The legal layer and the digital layer are the same artifact.
The result is infrastructure that regulators, exchanges, and counterparties can replay, audit, and trust at sovereign scale.
First application: regulated carbon markets.
Hanaper’s first deployment is in regulated carbon markets, covering issuance, allocation, transfer, retirement, and Article 6 corresponding adjustments, built for sovereign registries and the institutions that operate them.
The architecture is general. The choice of carbon as the first vertical is deliberate: no other regulated asset class faces the same combination of cross-border compliance pressure, integrity scrutiny, and capital formation opportunity in the next thirty-six months.
The underlying infrastructure is already in production at sovereign scale.
Hanaper builds on verifiable credential infrastructure that governments and regulators are already deploying at scale. The same architecture is operational across supranational institutions, sovereign nations, and subnational jurisdictions today.
